How It All Started
For as long as I can remember, I have had a camera in my hand. It started as a leapfrog brand little orange digital camera as a little kid at daycare; then, I remember selling just enough Girl Scout cookies to earn the prize of a green digital Sony camera. When I was 16, my mom bought me a beginner camera for Christmas and I took that thing EVERYWHERE. For a while, friends would ask me to take their pictures and I jumped at every opportunity, doing it just for fun and totally free. Finally, one of my friends asked me to photograph her wedding and I decided to turn my passion into my career. When I was prepping for my big first wedding day, I reached out to other photographers for help, and the responses were so cruel and discouraging that I used it to fuel my fire. Since that day, I have done countless shoots, met tons of amazing people, and captured the biggest moments of people's lives. I make it a point to bring happiness to the lives of everyone I meet because you never know what someone else is going through! Most people see "just" a photographer, but there's so much more to it than meets the eye. Being a safe space for someone while creating the most genuine and memorable moments is the best part.
